Lesson to remember on how Ibrahim a.s struggle to find the truth.
No sooner had he made this declaration than tribulations and calamities of the greatest magnitude descended on him. His father threatened him with expulsion from the family home. His community warned him that no one among them would give him refuge. And the government officials insisted on his case being brought before the King. But Ibrahim. lonely and forsaken by his relatives and friends, stood firm as a rock in the cause of truth. He told his father respectfully: The knowledge I have has not been vouchsafed to you. As such, instead of my following you, you should follow me (Maryam 19: 41-51)
In answer to the threats of his community he broke their idols with his own hands to prove how powerless they were ( 21: 57-70)
In the court of the kin, he boldly declared: You are not my Lord. My LORD is He in whose hands are your life and death as well as mine., and within the bounds of whose law even the movements of the sun are cicumscribed (Al Baqarah 2: 258)
The Royal court decided that Ibrahim a.s. should be burnt alive and he willingly came forward to suffer his horrible punishment for the sake of his unshakable faith in the One God. After Allah with His supreme power saved him form this fate, he abandoned his home, his relations, his community and his country. He set out with his wife, Sarah, and a nephew, Lut, to wander from one land to another.
To this man the undisputed religious leadership of his people had been available. Yet he gave up wealth and power and preferred the life of a homeless and destitute wanderer rather than have to mislead people into the continuing worship of false God. He chose to lived for the purpose of summoning people to their true God, even though he would be driven from place to place.
So,.... brothers and sisters, bring your hand together, join us, let us guide you to the true path. Jews and Christian my neighbor brothers, you are indeed about an inch to the truth but on the way...to the destiny you had lost somewhere......as you know ....., i know, and everyone knows that the Bible is corrupted. What a pity , due to your egoist, you had choosen the wrong path.
"Make ye no excuses: ye have rejected Faith after ye had accepted it. If We pardon some of you We will punish others amongst you, for that they are in sin." (9:66)
So, let us unite, come together as One.
Allah says in the Quran:
Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): For by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. (52:29)
"O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: it is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last. (39) "He that works evil will not be requited but by the like thereof: and he that works a righteous deed― whether man or woman― and is a Believer― such will enter the Garden (of Bliss): therein will they have abundance without measure. (40:40)
Do they not then earnestly seek to understand the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up by them? (47:24)
36. Say: "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the provision to whom He pleases but most men understand not."
37. It is not your wealth nor your sons, that will bring you nearer to Us in degree: but only those who believe and work Righteousness― these are the ones for whom there is a multiplied Reward for their deeds, while secure they (reside) in the dwellings on high!
38. Those who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them, will be given over into Punishment.
39. Say: "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Sustenance to such of His servants as He pleases: and nothing do ye spend in the least (in His cause) but He replaces it: for He is the Best of those Who grant Sustenance.
40. One Day He will gather them all together, and say to the angels "Was it you that these men used to worship?"
41. They will say "Glory to Thee! Our (tie) is with Thee― as Protector― not with them. Nay, but they worshiped the Jinns: most of them believed in them."
42. So on that Day no power shall they have over each other, for profit or harm: and We shall say to the wrong-doers "Taste ye the penalty of the Fire― the which ye were wont to deny!"
[SABA]
So do understand, this is the message to all the people of the Books.......let us be together.......Join us....as ONE....
"Thou canst but admonish: such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous." (36:11)
Finally:
O ye who believe! enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the Evil One; for he is to you an avowed enemy. (2:208)
